MADAME POMMERY, THE CREATOR OF CHAMPAGNE BRUT
In 1858, she took over as head of Pommery & Greno after the death of her husband. As a woman ahead of her time, she created Pommery Nature in 1874, the first brut champagne to reach commercial success, therefore breaking with the tradition of very sweet wine.
Today, the Feminine bond persists at the heart of Maison Pommery: Nathalie, Mailys & Pauline Vranken perpetuate the style of the House created by Madame Pommery.
Pauline Vranken, Vice President of Pommery Vranken will lead this tasting event with Pops Wine Director Michael Seward.
